The gas‑liquid mixing pump is a special self‑priming centrifugal pump. It can suck liquid and gas simultaneously and complete emulsification and mixing inside the pump chamber.
When the impeller rotates at high speed, negative pressure is generated to draw both liquid and gas into the pump cavity. The rotating impeller strongly shears and breaks gas into numerous tiny bubbles. The special vortex chamber structure prevents tiny bubbles from merging into large ones, keeping bubbles evenly dispersed in the liquid to form stable gas‑liquid emulsion.
The mixed two‑phase medium is pressurized by the impeller and then discharged outwards. Unlike ordinary centrifugal pumps which suffer from gas lock once gas enters, this pump allows a certain proportion of gas to pass through for continuous gas‑liquid delivery. Some versions can handle trace solid particles.
The intake ratio must stay within the rated range. Excessive intake will reduce output flow and pressure. It is widely applied in ozone‑water preparation, water aeration, foam cleaning and wastewater treatment.
